ABOUT

PRINT ST. PETE IS A small community letterpress & risograph printshop offering studio access, workshops, custom printing & collaborations founded by Bridget Elmer & Kaitlin Crockett in 2016

Bridget Elmer and Kaitlin Crockett met in 2010 at Florida State University in Tallahassee, FL. Bridget was teaching a Book Arts class that Kaitlin, an undergraduate creative writing major, took out of an interest in self-publishing. The two reconnected in 2012 when Bridget, who was operating as The Southern Letterpress, relocated to St. Petersburg and discovered Kaitlin had acquired her own press and type and was printing as Oma Darlin’ Press. They moved into 4903 8th Ave S. in Gulfport in 2013 as a place to share equipment and resources. A mutual passion for education and community engagement led them to open their space to the community in 2016 as Print St. Pete.
